Carly Rea Jepsen urodziła się 21 listopada 1985 roku w Kanadzie- Jest piosenkarką, śpiewa pop, pop rock i country pop. Uczęszczała do Heritage Park Secondary School w Mission. Zajęła 3 miejsce w kanadyjskiej edycji Idola. Wyruszyła również z tym programem w trasę koncertową zatytułowaną Canadian Idol Top. W 2011 roku wydała singiel ,,Call me Maybe”.  Ta piosenka okazała się wielkim sukcesem.  Jej najnowsze piosenki to: ,,Good time", ,,Kiss” i ,,Tonight I’m getting over you”.
